Minister of Health Robin Swann asks Members to approve The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021.
These Regulations amend the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020.
The amendments restrict gatherings to six persons from two households, with exemptions; restrict gatherings in a private dwelling to one household, or one household and its linked household to a maximum of ten persons; introduce restrictions on movement away from home without a reasonable excuse, with exemptions; and introduce a power to direct persons to return home if they are in breach of, or intending to breach, a requirement.
