Health Minister Robin Swann proposed that MLAs approve a number of statutory rules related to the coronavirus pandemic.

- The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Wearing of Face Coverings) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 – which deal with the wearing of face coverings
- The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Wearing of Face Coverings) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 –which deal with the necessity to wear face masks in certain places
- The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 – which deal with sports gatherings and theatre audiences
- The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 – which deal with gatherings
