Motion: United Kingdom Internal Market Bill – Tuesday 22 September 2020

SDLP MLAs Matthew O’Toole, Colin McGrath, Sinead McLaughlin and Patsy McGlone propose a motion that the Assembly recognises that a trade deal between the United Kingdom and the European Union is critical in protecting the interests of everyone living in Northern Ireland; expresses deep concerns about the UK Government’s approach to negotiations and the terms of the United Kingdom Internal Market Bill and calls on the Prime Minister to respect the will of the people of Northern Ireland and the principles of devolution.
