Just in relation to “the levels of additionality” that Dr Mangan referred to when responding to questions about an alternative funding system for special schools. In England that “additionality” is taken care of in the actual formula that is applied. It comes under “Top ups” e.g each place is funded at £10,000 with top ups for certain conditions – £8,000 for a child with autism, £12,000 for a child with PMLD.
