The Committee received evidence sessions on the Domestic Abuse and Family Proceedings Bill from officials representing Victim Support NI, Barnardo’s and the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). The Committee was also briefed on the Bill by the Attorney General for Northern Ireland. The Attorney General also briefed the Committee on the Draft Human Rights Guidance for the Public Prosecution Service and the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
