The Committee met in room 30, Parliament Buildings on 18 February 2016 to receive a Departmental briefing on vehicle immobilisation on private land in Northern Ireland. The Committee also heard from members of the Department, the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Probation Board NI and Northern Ireland Prison Service on the impact and cost on the Criminal Justice System of alcohol and drug misuse.
