The Committee received Department of Finance briefings on the Department’s 2021-2022 Draft Budget allocation and draft Budget Bill 2021, Spring Supplementary Estimates (SSEs) and Vote on Account.
This was followed by an Assembly Research briefing on analysis of Forecast Outturn Quarterly Report – 2020-21 annual outturn, and Analysis of Departmental bids for capital and resource funding during the pandemic.
The Committee also received a briefing from representatives of Northern Ireland Committee – Irish Congress of Trade Unions (NIC-ICTU) and Nevin Economic Research Institute (NERI) on the 2021-22 Draft Budget.
