The Committee met on Thursday 6 June 2024.
The Committee received legal advice and heard evidence from departmental officials on Directive (EU) 2024/1438 which amends Directives relating to honey, fruit juices and certain similar products intended for human consumption, fruit jams, jellies and marmalades and sweetened chestnut purée intended for human consumption, and certain partly or wholly dehydrated preserved milk for human consumption.
The Committee also agreed its final report on Regulation (EU) 2024/1157 on shipments of waste, and consider its draft report on Regulation (EU) 2024/1252 on establishing a framework for ensuring a secure and sustainable supply of critical raw materials.
