Official Report (Hansard) - written transcriptions
The Official Report of the Northern Ireland Assembly, also known as Hansard, is the authoritative record of the proceedings of the Assembly.
The Official Report is a substantially verbatim transcript of the proceedings; it reports what was said as well as what was decided.
These transcripts are a great resource to augment our video coverage. Where possible we try to provide links to appropriate transcripts along with the video recordings.
All Plenary meetings are accompanied by a full written transcription of proceedings.
Not all sessions in committee meetings are recorded by the Official Report – only those at the request of the committee. When a committee evidence session is recorded, it is also known as ‘Minutes of Evidence’.
