The Committee received briefings on the Damages (Return on Investment) Bill from representatives of the Forum of Injury Lawyers (FOIL) and Confederation of British Industry NI; the Association of British Insurers (ABI); the Forum of Complex Injury Solicitors (FOCIS); and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. This was followed by a briefing on the Protection from Stalking Bill with Action Against Stalking, Scotland.
