During the morning session of its meeting the Committee received a briefing from representatives of the childcare sector on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children. The Committee also received Departmental briiefings on SR 2020/78 The Children’s Social Care (Coronavirus) (Temporary Modification of Children’s Social Care) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 and SL1 The Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020.
