The Committee began with a briefing from the Food Standards Agency NI on The Food and Feed Hygiene and Safety (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021. This was followed by a briefing from Royal College of Midwives and NI Abortion and Contraception Taskgroup on the Severe Fetal Impairment Abortion (Amendment) Bill. The Committee also received a briefing from Autism NI and a briefing from Departmental officials on the Health and Social Care Bill.
