The Committee met in room 30, Parliament Buildings on Thursday 13 October 2016 to receive briefings from Assembly Research on sentencing guidelines mechanisms in other jurisdictions, the Department of Justice on the draft 2017-18 budget and the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service on court fee increases.
