The Committee for Enterprise, Trade and Investment met on Tuesday 9th February 2016 at 10.00am in Room 29,Parliament Buildings.
The Committee received a briefing from NIPSA on HSENI proposals for the Replacement of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (NI) 2007. The Committee then heard from DETI officials on the matter.
The Committee also considered written briefings on DETI Research Agenda 2015/16 and Better Regulation: An Action Plan for Reform. The Committee then reviewed SL1 Substitute Insolvency Practitioners (Recognised Professional Bodies) Order (NI) 1991, Consultation on amendment of Electricity (Class Exemption from the Requirements for a Licence) Order (NI) 2013, and Consultation on proposals for New Equipment and Protective Systems Intended for Use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (NI) 2016 to implement Directive 2014/34/EU (the ATEX Directive).
